Ideas and Practices

This section sets out some ideas and practices that are intended to support you to allow yourself to grieve. Grieving is a natural human process that can sometimes get stuck or derailed. The ideas here are designed to help the process to get unstuck, so that natural healing and processing can happen. This video gives an overview of the heart of My Grief My Way:

Each of these skills has a page of its own, with a short video describing what it means, and ideas, practices and exercises that are designed to build that skill. Each of these skills overlaps with and supports the others so that they come together to help you to deal with your grief in a flexible way. This allows you to make choices about how you are handling it, to deal with it well and reduce unhelpful habits that can block grieving and lead you to be stuck.
